Job summary

Mainsail Lodging & Development is seeking enthusiastic and energetic individuals for server assistant roles in Georgia. The position focuses on greeting guests, delivering exceptional service, and supporting various dining outlets to uphold Marriott standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, hospitality experience, and strong customer service and communication skills. Proficiency with tablets and POS systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher.
• Hospitality or serving experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to use technology (tablets).
• Knowledge of beverages including wines and ability to pair with meals.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of all beverages including liquors and wines.
• Serve guests in an efficient, courteous manner following proper steps of service.
• Run food and assist servers at multiple dining areas.
• Maintain clean, organized service areas and set up tables with needed items.
• Follow cash handling procedures and explain shortages/overages.
• Upsell items to guests during interactions and use the POS system for transactions.
