Job summary

Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is seeking a Guest Service Specialist to greet onsite guests and guide them through their Colonial Williamsburg experience. This role involves assisting with ticketing, entry point operations, and on-site sales across various venues within the Historic Area and museums.

The position requires strong customer service, clear communication, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service.
• Knowledge of Tessitura CRM and/or other ticketing or CRM systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and serve as the first point of contact for guests.
• Assist in opening/closing and daily operations of all guest entry points.
• Operate an automated ticketing system accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor theater queues and manage film introductions.
• Promote and sell general admission, programs, lodging, and dining options.
• Collect and verify customer data and process discounts and payments.
