Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a front desk associate for a Wellsworth Hotel in Southbridge, MA. You will welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, manage calls, and assist guests with a warm, professional attitude in a live 24/7 environment.

Experience in hospitality and guest services is valued, with language skills in English/Spanish a plus; familiarity with hotel systems like Stay n Touch, Toast, Word and Excel preferred. Part-time schedule required.

Qualifications

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests/visitors in a courteous, enthusiastic and professional manner.
• Check-in and Check-out guests.
• Provide proper telephone service for all calls and wake-up requests.
• Handle mail, faxes, messages and deliveries.
• Utilize Stay n Touch, Toast, Word and Excel as part of daily tasks.
• Maintain complimentary guest amenities through housekeeping; restock Sundry shop.
• Complete daily shift checklist and communicate across departments.
