Job summary

Target is hiring an On-Demand Team Member in North Carolina. As an On-Demand TM, you can create your own schedule by picking up shifts through the myTime app, with shifts posted by leaders or teammates. Your reliability and attendance are essential to success in this role.

You will be offered a Welcome orientation and required to complete a short-term training schedule to ensure you are prepared for your new role. The myTime app facilitates shift selection to fit your availability.

• You enjoy interacting and helping others - including guests that shop our store and fellow team members you work with.
• You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving are key to success.
• You are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends and other peak shopping times).

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring guest experience by greeting and assisting guests.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support peers and maintain a positive attitude.
• Operate scanning and payment processes accurately and safely.
• Assist with Drive Up, Order Pick Up, and Registry services.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours.
