Job summary

Target is seeking a Guest Advocate to help guests have a welcoming, efficient shopping experience in a fast-paced store environment. You will greet guests, assist with finding items, explain features of the Target App, and support checkout and returns with a service-first mindset.

You should enjoy helping others, stay calm under pressure, and adapt to varying schedules, including nights and weekends, while upholding safety and store standards.

• You thrive in a fast-moving, highly active and physically demanding role, where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem solving are key to success.
• You are open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and other peak shopping times).

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests in the 10ft and 4ft zones with a warm, helpful interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver a great guest experience.
• Demonstrate a service culture aligned with the service standard.
• Explain and promote current promos, store activities, and Target App features.
• Know and explain Target Loyalty benefits and assist with sign-up and sign-in.
