Job summary

Target is seeking a Guest Advocate to deliver a friendly, efficient guest experience in a fast-paced store environment. You will greet guests, help them locate items, process transactions, and explain the Target Loyalty program benefits while promoting available services like Order Pick-Up and Drive Up.

Qualifications

• Communicating effectively, including using positive language and attentive to guests needs.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
• Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks.
• Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.

• Greet guests and provide a helpful, welcoming interaction at various distances.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Assist peers and maintain a positive attitude while supporting team efforts.
• Promote and explain current promos, store activities and features within the Target App.
• Know and discuss benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up and login as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards.
