Job summary

St. Francis House, located in downtown Boston, seeks a Guest Engagement Liaison to welcome guests and connect them to housing, income, and behavioral health services. You will engage guests, conduct screenings, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure access to day shelter resources and supportive programs.

Weekday coverage with a floating schedule is required. Experience with homelessness, crisis intervention, and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual ability a plus (Spanish or Haitian Creole).

Responsibilities

• Establish a welcoming, inclusive environment for all guests.
• Orient and direct guests to programs and services.
• Perform enrollment and screening of new guests and refer to services.
