Job summary

Lowes Foods Chicken Kitchen supervisor role focuses on supervising staff, ensuring friendly guest interactions, and delivering a brand-aligned experience while maintaining operations standards.

You will train and guide team members, manage inventory, meet sales and safety standards, and perform duties such as product prep, stocking, and PA announcements, working on-site. This position requires excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Able to actively engage guests.
• Ability to supervise people including training and development.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Able to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of deli as well as chicken kitchen operations.
• Ability to work with computers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from all chicken kitchen staff.
• To personally demonstrate superior guest service at all times.
• Achieve sales, shrink and profit goals for the chicken kitchen.
• Maintain desired level of inventory and supplies.
• Operate the department according to strict merchandising and operational standards.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Lowes Foods standards.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to ensure chicken kitchen staff achieve satisfactory performance standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Maintain department’s labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform PA announcements.
