Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a Chicken Kitchen supervisor to lead guest interactions and ensure a brand-aligned experience while upholding operations standards. You will manage daily tasks, supervise staff, train teammates, and maintain inventory, sanitation, and safety.

The role requires strong communication, guest service, and the ability to work with deli and kitchen operations. You will also help with scheduling and achieving department goals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25 lb consistently and 50 lb occasionally.
• Reading and understanding information and directions.
• Knowledge of deli and chicken kitchen operations.
• Ability to supervise people including training and development.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work with computers.

Responsibilities

• Polite, friendly service from all chicken kitchen staff.
• Personally demonstrate superior guest service at all times.
• Achieve sales, shrink and profit goals for the chicken kitchen.
• Maintain inventory and supplies.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational standards.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback for staff.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest service as needed.
• Maintain department labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform PA announcements.
