Job summary

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar in Howell, MI is seeking a friendly server who will delight guests by delivering timely, courteous service and sharing menu knowledge to enhance the dining experience.

You will take orders, input them in the POS, serve food and drinks, and help maintain a clean, welcoming space while staying flexible to evenings and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and interacts with every guest to create a friendly upbeat work environment
• Familiarize guests with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested
• Take guests orders and input them correctly in the POS using the write, repeat and review rule
• Serve food and beverages using the Applebee’s TEAM delivery system
• Pre bus table and sweep the surrounding area to keep it clean and comfortable
• Collect payment from customers in a timely manner using the QR code or POS
• Completes daily cleaning work tasks and maintains a clean and safe working environment
• Anticipate guests' needs in order to facilitate an enjoyable dining experience
