Job summary

Olympia Hospitality is seeking a friendly Concierge to expertly coordinate guest services, provide information about the hotel and local attractions, and help ensure a memorable stay. You will greet guests, assist with transportation, dining, and entertainment arrangements, and keep the desk organized.

This role emphasizes proactive service, clear communication, and knowledge of Norfolk and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of local area helpful.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and assist with luggage, transportation, and immediate needs.
• Provide personalized dining, entertainment, and local attractions recommendations.
• Arrange reservations, tickets, and transportation for guests.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, services, policies, and amenities.
• Maintain knowledge of local events and attractions and inform guests accordingly.
• Communicate with guests, colleagues, and external partners via phone, email, and in person.
• Keep concierge desk organized with brochures, maps, and promotional materials.
• Ensure desk is staffed during scheduled hours and cover peak periods.
• Build rapport and anticipate guest needs with personalized gestures.
• Solicit guest feedback to improve service delivery.
