Job summary

Atlas Restaurant Group in Houston, TX is seeking a Server to deliver an exceptional dining experience. You will greet guests, take orders, recommend food and drinks, and coordinate with the kitchen to ensure accurate timely service.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a restaurant setting, strong customer service, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Servers must meet age requirements to serve alcohol; training in wine and cocktails is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in restaurant industry.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of wine and craft cocktails is a plus.
• Meets state minimum age (18) to serve alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions about the menu, sells restaurant's food and drinks, and communicates orders with the kitchen.
• Stay guest focused and sustain an excellent guest experience.
• Possess strong food, and beverage knowledge.
• Keep all working stations clean, organized and properly stocked.
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning duties.
• Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to guest.
• Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations.
