Job summary

Catch Hospitality Group in Houston is seeking a server for a high-volume upscale dining experience. You will greet guests, take drink and food orders, explain menus, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate, timely service.

You should have 1–2 years of server experience, exceptional guest service, multitasking ability, and a passion for hospitality. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of server experience in a high-volume upscale restaurant, luxury hotel, or fine dining establishment.
• Exceptional guest service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Organized and proficient at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn and retain extensive food, beverage, and wine knowledge.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and welcome them in a friendly manner.
• Take drink orders and follow policy regarding service of alcohol.
• Know the menu and explain items, ingredients, and preparation methods to guests.
• Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared and delivered on time and together.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, with good presentation and timely table service.
• Check on guests during meals to ensure satisfaction and address requests/concerns.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and bring issues to management.
• Collaborate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Comply with all federal and state laws, including FLSA tip regulations regarding tip reporting, sharing, and minimum wage requirements.
