Job summary

Pizzeria Vetri is hiring a Server to deliver warm, genuine dining experiences as part of the front-of-house team. You will use your knowledge of our menu and ingredients to guide guests, take accurate orders, and collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure exceptional hospitality.

Ideal candidates are personable, detail-oriented, and passionate about food and community, with 1+ year in a full-service setting and comfort with Toast or similar POS systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of experience in a full-service restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine passion for hospitality, food, and community.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and ensure a welcoming table experience.
• Make knowledgeable menu recommendations and explain ingredients and pairings.
• Take and input orders accurately using the POS system; note dietary restrictions.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks and anticipate guest needs.
• Check in with guests during their meal and address questions or concerns.
• Maintain table cleanliness and reset spaces between seatings.
• Collaborate with hosts, bartenders, bussers, runners, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
• Participate in daily pre-shift meetings and ongoing staff training.
