Job summary

Tim Ho Wan East Village is seeking a server to deliver excellent dining experiences in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. You will greet guests, take orders, serve dishes, and ensure accuracy and hospitality throughout the meal.

The role requires regular weekend and holiday availability, and a friendly, professional service mindset. Prior experience in dim sum or high-volume environments is a strong plus, and bilingual skills are helpful for kitchen communication.

Qualifications

• Experience as a server in a full-service restaurant is required.
• Experience in a dim sum or high-volume restaurant is a huge plus.
• Bilingual in Chinese or Spanish is helpful for communication with kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Observe cash control procedures and print out reports in POS.
• Ensure all customer orders and requests are completed promptly and satisfactorily.
• Serve food to guests accurately, promptly, and satisfactorily, with required condiments.
• Introduce dishes to guests and warn if items are hot or may spill.
• Maintain visibility and proactivity to guest needs at all times.
• Restock supplies and keep service areas clean and organized.
• Ensure food preparation and presentation follow prescribed standards.
• Coordinate with service team to deliver excellent guest service.
• Clear and reset tables for the next guests and maintain clean floors.
