NEXDINE Hospitality in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a Server to join our dining team. You will set up and breakdown events, serve guests, take orders, describe menu items, and ensure a memorable guest experience.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, prior food service or customer service experience, and TIPS certification. Pay is $17.00–$18.00 per hour, with weekly direct deposit. Schedule includes weekends and holidays with ample growth opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in food service preferred.
• Previous customer service experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Serve food or beverages to customers and prepare or serve specialty dishes as required.
• Take orders from customers for food or beverages.
• Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
• Ensure customers are satisfied with all aspects of service and communicate issues to supervisor.
• May collect payments from customers with accuracy and courtesy.
• Check customers' identification to ensure minimum age for alcohol service.
• Assist with set-up/breakdown of events and stock service areas.
• Perform cleaning duties and keep server station tidy; help with pots, pans, and dishes as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service, be attentive and approachable to guests.
