Job summary

Delaware North is hiring both full-time and part-time Servers for The Sheraton in Nashua, New Hampshire. You will represent our restaurant, deliver outstanding service, and help create memorable experiences for guests.

This is a tipped position with a base hourly rate of $7.25. You must be 21 or older, have cash handling and credit card processing experience, and ideally 1 year of high-volume server experience with a POS system. Cross-training as Bartender is available.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing.
• One year’s experience as a server in a high-volume environment and experience with a POS system in a service or hospitality environment.
• Must be able to cross train in the Bartender role.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and attend to guests’ needs, provide menus and communicate restaurant specials, take orders.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to alcohol service policies.
• Enter orders into the POS system and process payments; prepare and deliver checks.
• Collaborate with other servers, kitchen and bar staff.
• Perform opening, closing, cleaning and side work duties; keep equipment and spaces clean and organized.
