Bethel Resort and Suites in Bethel, ME is seeking a dynamic Banquet Server for a part-time role. You will serve at on-site events, ensure guest satisfaction, and maintain cleanliness and service standards. This position offers AM, PM, and weekend shifts with a friendly team atmosphere.

The role requires at least 1 year of related experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a cheerful demeanor. Onsite work is required.

• Strong hand coordination for writing, pouring, and carrying multiple items.
• Able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment on your feet 4–8 hours.
• Excellent organizational skills and team-oriented mindset.

• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be onsite at the Bethel location.

We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team at Bethel Resort and Suites. This is a Part Time position located in Bethel, ME. Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team at Bethel Resort and Suites. This is a Part Time position located in Bethel, ME. Work Performed

The Banquet Server is responsible for serving food and drinks to guests at events at our onsite venue.

• Set up/Prepare the banquet/meeting rooms based on event requirements
• Take food and drink orders
• Make food and drink recommendations to guests and answer all menu- and service-related questions
• Greet guests and deliver a memorable experience for all
• Clear, clean and sanitize tables
• Complete side-work throughout the shift, before and after
• Take out trash and recycling as needed
• Reset banquet/meeting rooms
• Help guests with any special requests/allergy information
• Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1 or more full years employment experience in a related position
• Skill and coordination when using hands to write, pour, and carry several drinks, plates, and bowls at the same time
• Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced work environment while on your feet for 4-8 hours
• Excellent organizational skills and show initiative with ability to work well in a team environment
• Possess good communication skills
• Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs
• Ability to maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Have proficiency in the English language
• Must be able to work onsite at the location
• Hours required: Part Time 20-30 hours per week for Morning (AM);Afternoon (PM);Evening;Weekends/ Holidays;Must be flexible
• Seeking dependable, guest-focused Tavern and Banquet Servers with flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be comfortable working both à la carte dining and private events

Additional Preferred Skills/Qualities

• Second language is a plus, preferably Spanish or French
