Job summary

Loews Arlington Hotel, part of Loews Hotels, seeks a vigilant Security Officer to safeguard guests and property. You will patrol, monitor access, respond to emergencies, and uphold safety standards across the hotel.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in hotel security, calm under pressure, strong communication, and familiarity with CCTV systems. Flexible schedules, nights and weekends, may apply.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel security experience (1–3 years preferred).
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Experience operating CCTV and security systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• First-aid certification or ability is preferred.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to team member entrances.
• Patrol the hotel to identify and address safety hazards.
• Respond to emergencies per Emergency Response Procedures.
• Maintain logs for visitor access and package removal.
• Inspect packages and enforce safety procedures.
• Document security incidents and actions.
• Interact professionally with guests to enhance experience.
• Monitor CCTV and report suspicious activity.
• Support safety trainings and flexible scheduling.
