Job summary

Loews Arlington Hotel is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to safeguard guests, team members, and property across a large resort environment in Arlington, TX. You will patrol the property, control access, respond to emergencies, and maintain strict security logs to ensure peace of mind for everyone on site.

The role requires 1–3 years in hotel security, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and strong observation and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel security or related field (1-3 years preferred).
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of security systems, safety regulations, and emergency response protocols.
  • Experience using CCTV systems and other security technology.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control access to team member entrances, ensuring a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular patrols to identify hazards and ensure guest/employee safety.
  • Respond to emergencies according to Emergency Response Procedures.
  • Maintain logs for visitor access and package removal.
  • Inspect packages entering and exiting to prevent unauthorized items.
  • Document security incidents and actions taken for accountability.
  • Interact professionally with guests and staff to enhance safety and service.
