Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• TIPs training is required.
• Experience in cash handling is required.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required.
• Excellent guest service skills are required.
• Knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, menus, guest relations, and etiquette is required.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware is required.
• Food Handler card is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of tables and work stations; keeps area clean.
• Checks tables for clean setup; monitors floors, chairs, and stations.
• Wipes water spots off glassware and silverware.
• Ensures guests have water and offers beverages.
• Takes and inputs orders into POS with special prep notes.
• Delivers orders from kitchen with condiments and accuracy.
• Abides by liquor regulations pertaining to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Monitors alcohol service per laws and SOPs.
• Checks back with guests to assure satisfaction and replenishes beverages.
• Promotes and serves desserts, wines, and other items to increase sales.
