Job summary

Crowne Plaza Asheville is seeking an Entry-level Catering/Reservations Coordinator to support the Sales & Catering team. You will screen calls, route leads, welcome clients, and prepare contracts and amendments.

Responsibilities include creating collateral, handling billing and deposits, inputting reservations, and maintaining group blocks. Requires a High School diploma; hospitality experience is preferred. Day shift, full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• Duties involve clerical and reception tasks with some cash handling/billing.
• Must handle guest communications and client inquiries with courteous professionalism.
• Input and manage reservations and group details accurately.

Responsibilities

• Screen and direct telephone calls; route leads to Sales/Catering managers.
• Provide a warm welcome for clients and on-property contacts.
• Create contracts, amendments, and supporting documents for sales and catering managers.
• Attend weekly departmental meetings.
• Input Reservations into the system accurately.
• Post charges, payments, and deposits for groups as needed.
• Monitor communications channels and respond promptly.
• Explain hotel facilities, services, and group offerings to clients.
