Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is hiring a Backwaiter to support restaurant operations by delivering food to guests promptly and courteously, assisting with dining room cleanliness, and maintaining service stations.

All team members must provide excellent customer service to ensure exceptional guest experiences. All team members must provide excellent customer service to ensure exceptional guest experiences and work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess or obtain a current Food Handler's Card.
• Stand, reach, bend, balance, and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong multitasking and ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Excellent communication and ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests efficiently and meet all requests.
• Monitor the expo line, run trays for dine-in, assist guests with questions.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating, and floors per standards.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as coffee/tea machines and POS systems.
• Interact courteously with guests and notify managers of issues.
• Follow company policies, dress code, and safety procedures.
• Assist with greeting, seating, phones, and takeout orders when necessary.
• Support beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service when required.
