Job summary

Element Portland Beaverton is seeking a RELAX Attendant to ensure our guests start their evening off right with genuine service. This position is MONDAY - THURSDAY 5pm to 8pm, handling setup, take-down, sanitation and restocking of the Relax & Rest service and kitchen while chatting with guests and keeping the area neat and welcoming throughout your shift.

As a RELAX Attendant, you will maintain cleanliness, assist in food preparation, and ensure inventory and supplies are ready.

Qualifications

• OLCC and Food Handler certifications required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Able to lift heavy trays and stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities for breakfast setup and cleaning.
• Ensure food is prepared and replenished for breakfast hours.
• Greet guests warmly and engage them in the breakfast area.
• Maintain inventory of food supplies and assist with orders.
• Assist in setup, service and breakdown of breakfast and meeting spaces.
• Inspect kitchen and dining spaces for cleanliness and equipment readiness.
• Maintain knowledge of proper maintenance and use of equipment.
• Check storage areas for supplies and organization.
• Clear and reset counters and tables after guest use.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and follow clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Respond to guest requests and complaints promptly and courteously.
• Collaborate with hotel team to deliver a memorable service experience.
