Job summary

Hyatt House Portland Downtown is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to create memorable guest experiences through quality dining and attentive service. You will prepare items, stock the buffet, and maintain cleanliness while engaging guests with a warm greeting and helpful assistance.

Applicants should have basic reading/writing skills, be able to stand and lift up to 25 pounds, and obtain any required local permits for food handling and alcohol service where applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous food handling or fast food experience is preferred.
• Must obtain a Food Handler’s Permit and, where required, an Alcohol Server’s Permit.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills; must be able to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items, prep, stock and maintain the buffet.
• Offer flexibility and creativity to meet guest requests.
• Proactively assist guests with eye contact and a warm greeting.
