Qualifications

Our Guest Attendants will serve theater guests, handling check-in, guiding guests, answering questions at the Concierge desk, taking and delivering orders, and processing payments. They focus on creating a world-class hospitality experience while maintaining safety standards to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment. They are the face of Alamo, making guests feel welcome and cared for.

OUR MISSION:

CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain kindness and understanding
  • Organize and lead theater cleaning, ensuring seats are sanitized before the next film
  • Manage order cards, safety, and guest needs across multiple theaters
  • Launch and manage guest orders from POS to delivery
  • Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
  • Maintain assistive listening and closed-caption devices
  • Foster a positive, team-driven atmosphere
  • Troubleshoot guest issues with management support
  • Own the lobby and seating experience, maintaining socially distant lines, announcing seating, guiding guests, and communicating with leadership
  • Know the core and limited-time menu offerings
  • Stay informed about films and events
  • Maintain cleanliness standards in all venue areas
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure health standards
  • Handle all guest interactions and ensure a positive experience
  • Uphold standards of behavior aligned with company values and policies

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years experience in high-volume restaurant/theater environment (a plus)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays
  • Active alcohol and food handler certifications as required by the state
  • Interest in cinema is a plus!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Lift and transport items up to 50 lbs
  • Stand for extended periods
  • Walk up and down stairs frequently
  • Position oneself discreetly in theaters
  • Operate POS touchscreen devices
  • Work cautiously in a busy, sometimes loud environment
