Compensation Range: $18.00 - $20.50 Plus Tips

Location: 2116-D NEW BERN AVE, RALEIGH, North Carolina, 27610

Our Guest Attendants will serve our theater guests and be their point of contact for various functions within the venue, including check-in, guiding guests to theaters, answering questions at the Concierge desk, confirming and taking orders in the theater, delivering food and beverages, and processing payments. They focus on creating a world-class hospitality experience while maintaining safety standards to ensure guests enjoy a safe, clean, distraction-free, and enjoyable environment. They understand that being off task is acceptable if it aligns with the mission: "To Ensure Every Guest Has An Awesome Experience And Is Excited To Return."

They are the face of the Alamo for our guests and will do what it takes to make them feel welcome and cared for.

CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain kindness and understanding
• Organize and lead theater cleaning, ensuring each occupied seat is sanitized before the next film
• Manage order cards, safety, and guest needs across multiple theaters
• Launch and manage guest orders from POS entry to delivery
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
• Maintain assistive listening and closed-caption devices
• Foster a positive, team-driven atmosphere
• Troubleshoot guest issues with management support
• Own the lobby and seating experience, including managing socially distant lines, announcing theater seating, guiding guests, and communicating with venue leadership
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings and current films and events
• Uphold cleanliness standards for the venue, including seats, handrails, tables, and touched areas
• Follow all safety protocols and standards to ensure health and safety
• Handle all guest interactions to ensure a positive experience
• Uphold company standards of behavior, conduct, and operational guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years experience in high-volume restaurant or theater environment preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
• Active alcohol and food handler certifications as required by the state
• Interest in film and theater is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift and transport items up to 50 lbs
• Stand for extended periods
• Walk up and down stairs multiple times
• Position oneself out of guest view when necessary
• Operate POS touchscreen devices
• Work in a busy, sometimes loud environment with caution
