Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis seeks a Valet Attendant to warmly welcome guests and safely park their cars in the hotel garage. You will assist with luggage, open doors, and support the Front Desk during check-in.

You will also guide guests to taxis and provide local recommendations, ensuring a superb arrival experience. The role requires outdoor work, 18+ years old, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Valet is required.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive all types of vehicles, including manual shift.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to work outside for majority of shift and be mobile/standing for 100% of shift.
• Ability to push and pull luggage carts with weight up to 200 pounds.
• Ability to lift or carry luggage/ boxes up to 100 pounds.
• Must have flexibility in availability to work according to business volume.
• A passion for hospitality and a desire to be the best!

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival by opening their car door and welcoming them to the hotel.
• Retrieve valet cars for guests departing from the hotel and assist with luggage.
• Issue appropriate valet parking ticket to guests.
• Assist guests with unloading luggage and guide them to the Front Desk for Check-in.
• Offer services to transport luggage to the room or escort guests to their rooms.
• Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests on arrival.
• Greet and open hotel doors for guests and local patrons arriving on foot.
• Direct guests and taxis to appropriate parking spots.
• Provide directions and information about the city and attractions.
• Arrange taxis as needed for guests.
• Handle guest interactions with hospitality and professionalism.
• Drive guests to destinations within a 3‑mile radius as part of the House Car program.
• Maintain a pleasant, professional demeanor with guests and colleagues.
• Record ticket information and revenue when needed.
• Comply with company rules and work standards.
• Collaborate harmoniously with team and management.
