Job summary

Target is hiring an On-Demand Team Member to support guest services in a fast-paced store environment. You can create your own schedule by picking shifts posted via the myTime app, with required orientation and short training before starting shift pickups.

You will engage with guests, promote store services, and maintain a clean, welcoming store experience while supporting team members and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Communicating effectively, including using positive language and attentive to guests needs
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed

Responsibilities

• Greet: 10ft: be friendly – smile, make eye contact, or wave
• Help guests find what they need and/or resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
