Job summary

Target is seeking an On-Demand Guest Advocate to support store guests with a friendly, efficient shopping experience. You will be asked to pick up shifts via the myTime scheduling app, maintain a welcoming presence, and help guests with checkout, returns, and services across drive-up and order pickup.

This role emphasizes flexibility, reliability, and strong communication, with training provided to ensure you deliver exceptional service while adhering to Target policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments.
• Greet guests at 10ft and 4ft distances with a welcoming interaction.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you and friendly follow-up.
• Support peers and assist in other areas while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Demonstrate a service culture that aligns with Target’s standards.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently, following safety practices.
• Stay aware of benefits and services, guiding guests to enrollment and use of the Target App.
• Assist with order pick up, Drive Up, and Registry guests and related processes.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and stock supplies during store hours.
• De-escalate situations with leaders as needed and recover the guest experience.
