Job summary

City Rescue Mission seeks a Guest Advisor - Men's Ministry (Front Desk) to lead front desk operations and coordinate administrative tasks for the Men's Ministry. You will supervise volunteers, train staff, conduct guest intakes, and ensure policy compliance with a Christ-centered approach.

You will manage guest records, donations, and data entry while engaging with guests and donors in a respectful, welcoming manner and supporting shelter and recovery program referrals as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Good interpersonal skills and basic computer skills.
• Competency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Good organizational skills and crisis de-escalation training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration and operations of the Men's Ministry front desk.
• Supervise Recovery participants and volunteers who work the front desk.
• Fully train all other personnel who work the front desk.
• Ensure that all policies and procedures pertaining to the front desk are followed by all personnel.
• Assist the Director - Men's Ministry in establishing policies and procedures for the front desk.
• Perform intakes for guests.
• Keep accurate record of guest medications and keep them locked in a cabinet except to dispense.
• Take in donations and maintain appropriate paperwork.
• Interact with guests, volunteers, and donors with courtesy and a Christlike attitude.
• Assess guests for shelter and recovery program eligibility.
• Enforce Men's Ministry rules.
• Enter data into the Mission Trackerguest data management database.
• Generate reports as required.
• All other duties as required.
