Job summary

Cheeca Lodge & Spa in Islamorada, FL invites you to join our team as a Guest Adventures Supervisor. You will support the Guest Adventures Manager, oversee the recreation team, and ensure the smooth operation of all recreational amenities to deliver memorable guest experiences.

You will lead with a focus on safety, guest service, and operational excellence while coordinating staff schedules, equipment inventory, and guest-focused activities—from bikes and kayaks to pool and beach

Qualifications

Experience supervising hospitality or recreation teams.
Strong guest-service orientation and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and stay organized outdoors.
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the recreation team, including pool, beach attendants, and activity coordinators.
Inform guests about available activities and assist with equipment like bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, and golfing gear.
Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of pools, beaches, and piers; ensure towels are distributed and lounge areas are tidy.
Monitor safety of recreational activities and enforce guidelines to provide a secure guest environment.
Assist in scheduling staff, managing inventory, and maintaining records related to recreational activities and equipment.
