Helix Traffic Solutions, LLC is hiring for Permanent Construction Apprentices to join the road and bridge crew building guardrails and supporting traffic-control projects. You’ll train on-the-job, learn safety standards, and work with experienced teams at varied sites.

A Class A CDL is required, you must be able to lift 80 pounds, read measurements, and travel as needed. We offer on-the-job training, competitive pay, overtime, and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Reliable transportation to worksites.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to read measurements and use rulers.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to travel out of town or state.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate guardrail installation activities with crews.
• Transport guardrail materials and equipment.
• Load, secure, and unload materials.
• Perform pre-trips, post-trips, and daily vehicle inspections.
• Erect guardrail systems per plans and specs; ensure proper alignment and secure fastening.
• Drive guardrail posts and assist installations.
• Conduct utility locating before excavation or installation work.
• Assist with site setup and organize equipment for daily operations.
• Support paving and roadway construction as needed to meet project timelines.
• Maintain daily logs and safety records; ensure DOT compliance.
• Travel and work overtime, nights, weekends, or out-of-town assignments as required.
