Job summary

Helix Traffic Solutions, LLC is hiring a Traffic Control Apprentice to maintain safe traffic flow around construction zones. You’ll work outdoors, set up and remove control devices, and interact with drivers to ensure safety for workers and the traveling public.

Basic qualifications include team orientation, ability to work 8+ hour shifts, and a valid driver's license with a clean drug screen. Prior flagger certification is provided during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Control vehicle and pedestrian traffic around work zones using signs, paddles, or flags.
• Set up and maintain temporary traffic control zones per project requirements.
• Communicate with drivers to guide safe traffic flow and ensure compliance.
• Monitor activity to anticipate safety hazards and respond promptly.
• Coordinate with team using radios and signals; adhere to PPE safety rules.
