Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) invites applications for the Guardianship Specialist I in Midland, TX. The role provides 24/7 service coordination for guardianship cases and requires strong knowledge of guardianship laws, court filings, and collaboration with regional attorneys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and possess a valid driver's license.
• Must pass JBCC certification within the first year of employment.

Responsabilités

• Attend regular schedule; provide on-call coverage outside hours as needed.
• Assess need for guardianship; coordinate services and monitor the person monthly.
• Document monthly status and prepare plans and required court filings.
• Maintain professional relationships with court staff and attorneys; provide testimony.
• Manage the person’s estate and/or financial affairs as ordered by the court.
