Job summary

Wayside Academy in Framingham, MA is seeking a Full Time Parent Partner to support guardians of students in a 220-day/12-month setting. The role leverages personal parenting experience to partner with school staff and guide families through the education process.

You will coordinate referrals, schedule tours and information sessions, provide counseling, and collaborate with teachers to identify resources. A flexible schedule and possible work-from-home options are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Personal experience as a parent/caregiver raising a child with mental health challenges is essential.
• TCI, CPR and First Aid training upon hire.
• Non-profit and child-serving systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Academy management in the referral process by contacting guardians and scheduling tours.
• Provide group, family and individual counseling intervention for guardians.
• Facilitate monthly virtual Parent Advisory Committee meetings and parent trainings.
• Collaborate with teachers/parents to identify resources for students.
• Document counseling sessions and required assessments.
• Assist caregivers in planning for their child’s strengths, needs and resources.
• Coordinate transportation to meetings and events; maintain strong team communication.
