Job summary

The SC Department of Children's Advocacy is seeking an experienced Case Worker to perform casework, court preparation, and court attendance for cases without a Guardian ad Litem. You will manage day-to-day cases, supervise volunteers, and collaborate with social services and family court to advocate for children's best interests.

Requirements include strong communication skills, ability to handle confidential information, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to train and supervise volunteers.
• Knowledge of computer applications and data entry.
• High school diploma with relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform casework, court preparation and court attendance for cases without a Guardian ad Litem.
• Provide day-to-day case management and supervise volunteers.
• Establish and maintain relationships with partner agencies and DSS.
