Job summary

Gong is hiring a GTM Engineer to design, build, and own automations, AI agents, and internal tools powering Gong’s go-to-market organization. GTM engineering is an emerging discipline: builders embedded in the revenue organization who combine AI, code, and automation platforms to ship systems that help acquire, convert, and grow customers.

You’ll join the GTM Automations & Data team within Revenue Operations and help define how this discipline scales at Gong.

Qualifications

2+ years building automations, internal tools, or production software.
You build and ship working software (Python, TypeScript, or similar); fluent with APIs and webhooks.
AI-native: you use LLMs and AI coding tools regularly to ship real business workflows.
Automation & GTM stack fluency: experience with automation platforms and GTM tools.
Commercial instinct: understand how a revenue organization works and prioritize by impact.
Craft: you build reliable systems with monitoring and good docs.
Builder mindset: curious, experimental, and comfortable with prototypes.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy AI-powered workflows and agents across the GTM lifecycle.
Scale production automations across the revenue stack with platforms like Workato; code where needed.
Own reliability through observability, retries, and safe failure paths.
Design internal applications using AI-native development tools.
Work with Gong’s internal data (Gong platform) to shape AI capabilities.
Document changes clearly and communicate impact to teams.
