Job description

Our GTM team builds meaningful, long‑term relationships with hedge funds, long‑only asset managers, and family offices. The team is responsible for driving new business growth and ensuring our clients get maximum value from Portrait’s AI‑powered investment research platform.

Associates play a central role in identifying new opportunities, engaging prospective users, and expanding our existing relationships across the buyside.

Portrait is a purpose‑built AI research platform designed for institutional investors. We help analysts and PMs work faster and smarter by automating key research workflows: from thesis monitoring and document synthesis to custom report building and qualitative screening.

Our platform is used by leading hedge funds and institutional investors to stay ahead of key inflections, evaluate companies more efficiently, and make better‑informed decisions. Portrait combines advanced LLM orchestration with proprietary research systems to deliver accuracy, transparency, and depth unmatched by generic AI tools.

What You’ll Do (Day‑to‑Day)

GTM Associates identify investment firms that will benefit from Portrait and guide them through the full commercial lifecycle. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:

Sourcing and building relationships with hedge funds, long‑only firms, and family offices
Introducing investors to Portrait’s capabilities and demonstrating how our platform improves their research efficiency
Managing onboarding and trial processes, from initial demo to close
Handling client inquiries and proactively sharing relevant insights, reports, and thesis updates
Assisting with pricing conversations, renewals, and expansion opportunities
Maintaining CRM accuracy and pipeline reporting
