Job summary

LangChain is hiring for a role in GTM Engineering to own the health, cost, performance, and business impact of the GTM Agent. You will work across Python, SQL, LangGraph, LangSmith, and related tools, building robust monitoring, evals, and production-grade AI agents for go-to-market platforms.

The role emphasizes ownership, proactive issue resolution, and publishing learnings. Hybrid work in the US, with in-office days and strong compensation and equity offerings.

Qualifications

• Strong production Python and SQL skills with experience in traces and warehouse tables.
• Experience running LLM applications, including tracing, evals, prompts and cache mechanics.
• SRE/production operations instincts: SLOs, percentiles, and noise suppression.
• Clear writing and a track record of sharing learnings publicly or within teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production health across all graphs and catch errors, slow or expensive runs, and silent failures.
• Triage issues from Slack, tickets, and reports, fix small items and route complex cases to owners.
• Run the weekly eval suite, diagnose failures, convert bugs into regression tests.
• Track cost and latency by model, graph, use case, and role; suggest changes to optimize performance.
• Monitor usage per rep and feature; own the weekly health report.
• Develop business metrics showing agent value from replies, meetings booked, and ROI.
• Create monitoring and alerting for LangSmith and document how we run the agent for customers.
