Job summary

Swagelok Northern California seeks a skilled GTAW Manual Welder to build, weld, and test custom assemblies using Swagelok products and customer specs. The role also maintains equipment and supports safety and quality across shop, Office and warehouse settings.

You will read blueprints, select welding programs, operate inspection tools, and communicate technical details with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time production and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum five years of GTAW experience, stainless steel preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret welding prints and schematics.
• Knowledge of purging and pressurizing systems and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints/drawings and plan layout and procedures.
• Operate welding and inspection equipment per process specifications.
• Perform visual and instrument-based weld inspections.
• Adjust welding parameters and tooling as needed.
• Maintain equipment and comply with Swagelok procedures and safety standards.
• Communicate with Quality and Engineering to resolve issues.
• Inspect products for quality defects and document findings.
• Work across office, production, and warehouse environments.
