Job summary

Siemens Energy’s Gas Services division seeks a GT Broach Operator to support precision manufacturing of complex gas turbine components. You will set up, operate, monitor, and inspect using broaching equipment, while prioritizing safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, relevant manufacturing experience, and the ability to read drawings and learn industrial broaching techniques. This on-site role emphasizes safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing, machining, mechanical assembly, or related field.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret work instructions.
• Willingness to learn industrial broaching processes and advanced manufacturing techniques.
• Must obtain Forklift, Crane, and ACT WorkKeys certifications.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate broaching machines, including tooling installation and part loading.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality during production runs.
• Inspect components with precision gauges to verify drawings and specs.
• Make mechanical adjustments to feeds, strokes, and setups for accuracy.
• Safely operate forklifts and cranes following procedures.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and process issues and maintain a safe workspace.
