Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a GT Broach Operator in Charlotte, NC to support precision manufacturing of gas turbine components using industrial broaching equipment. This hands-on role focuses on machine setup, operation, monitoring, and quality control, emphasizing safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

You will set up and operate multiple broaching machines, monitor performance, inspect parts with precision tools, and make mechanical adjustments to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and layouts.
• Safety-focused with required certifications and PPE adherence.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate broaching machines, install tooling, align fixturing and load parts.
• Monitor machine performance, tooling condition, and product quality during runs.
• Inspect components with precision gauges to verify conformance to drawings.
• Adjust feeds, strokes, and setups to maintain dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Safely operate forklifts and cranes per procedures and safety rules.
