Job summary

Siemens Energy in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a GT Broach Operator to support precision manufacturing of gas turbine components. You will set up and run broaching machines, monitor performance, and ensure quality, while adhering to safety protocols and continuous improvement efforts.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and prior manufacturing/machining experience; forklift and crane certifications are a plus. This is a full‑time on‑site position in the Gas Services division.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing, machining or related fields preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and layouts.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate broaching machines, install tooling and fixtures.
• Monitor machine performance and product quality during runs.
• Inspect components with precision instruments to verify specs.
• Adjust feeds and setups to maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Safely operate forklifts and cranes following procedures.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and process issues while maintaining safety.
