Job summary

Learning Care is seeking a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high-quality, play-based classroom in Michigan. You will assist the Lead Teacher with daily lessons, assessments, and maintaining an engaging learning environment for 4-year-olds preparing for kindergarten.

The role emphasizes building positive relationships with children and families, participating in professional development, and meeting state GSRP requirements. Training and credential support are provided.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development (Or a valid CDA credential with a plan to complete an associate degree)
• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
• Ability to meet state licensing and GSRP requirements
• Team player with a passion for early childhood education

Responsibilities

• Assist in observing and assessing children's development using approved tools
• Help maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom
• Build positive relationships with children and families

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan\'s state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre-K program for 4-year-old children. We\’re looking for a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high-quality, play-based classroom that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond.
