Job summary

Learning Care Group in Michigan is seeking a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high-quality, play-based classroom that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond.

As an Associate Teacher, you’ll assist Lead Teacher with daily lessons, observe child development, maintain a safe, engaging space, and build positive relationships with children and families while participating in family engagement activities and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
• Ability to meet state licensing and GSRP requirements.
• Team player with a passion for early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily lessons using an approved GSRP curriculum.
• Assist in observing and assessing children’s development using approved tools.
• Help maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Participate in family engagement activities, staff meetings, and required professional development.

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre-K program for 4-year-old children.We’re looking for a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high-quality, play-based classroom that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond.

As an Associate Teacher, you’ll:
