Job summary

Pinkerton's Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) is hiring a GSOC Operator to monitor CCTV, alarms, access control, and fire/life safety across designated sites. You will respond to incidents, dispatch Security Specialists, and liaise with public safety while documenting events in the case management system.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 1–2 years in GSOC or dispatch, solid communication skills, and the ability to perform under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of GSOC/Dispatcher experience.
• Familiar with Genetec, LifeRaft, Everbridge; proficient with mass notification tools.
• Able to analyze data and make rapid decisions under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and confidential.
• Team player who can adapt as organization evolves.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems including CCTV, access control, alarms, and fire/life safety.
• Respond to incidents, dispatch Security Specialists, and coordinate with public safety.
• Document incidents clearly in the case management system.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders via email and phone.
• Collaborate with GSOC management to ensure KPI/SOP adherence.
• Participate in training exercises and after-hours operations.
