Job summary

Firefly Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a skilled welder for our Cedar Park, TX manufacturing and test site.

The role focuses on fabricating and welding production-level flight-grade SS assemblies, tooling, and ground support equipment to prints, with opportunities to work on R&D test site equipment and launch-site fabrication. You will collaborate with design teams and operations to bring spaceflight products to life, including travel to launch sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of welding experience.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick and Flux Core welding.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work overtime/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Performs welding on aluminum and steel structures to prints.
• Reads piping diagrams and shop drawings for installation.
• Performs tube, piping and conduit installation for fluid systems.
• Operates tools and testing equipment; maintains equipment performance.
• Travels to launch sites as required.
