Job summary

Firefly Aerospace in Briggs, TX is seeking a GSE Combination Welder to fabricate and weld production‑level flight‑grade SS assemblies, tooling, and ground support equipment per prints. You will collaborate with vehicle design, ground support, and operations teams to bring spaceflight hardware to life.

The role offers opportunities to work on R&D site equipment, launch‑site fabrication, and production tooling with travel to launch sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of welding experience required.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick and Flux Core welding.
• Experience with structural and pipe welding.
• Knowledge of heat applications to prevent warpage.

Responsibilities

• Performs welding on aluminum and steel structures per drawings.
• Reads piping and instrument diagrams for installation and repair.
• Performs tube, piping and conduit installation for fluid systems.
• Uses a range of tools to maintain and calibrate equipment.
• Travelling to launch sites to support the program.
