Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years repairing and maintaining ground support equipment.
• Valid Class C driver's license required.
• ASE certification or diesel certification is a plus.
• M HIV airport security badges may be required but treated as a condition of employment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, troubleshoot, repair, replace, and overhaul ground support equipment and components such as chassis, engines, electrical systems, and more.
• Read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Perform preventative maintenance like oil changes and fluid replacement.
• Safely operate a motor vehicle as required.
• Complete forms for work assignments per procedures.
• Keep tools and equipment in safe working condition.
• Report safety violations or equipment misuse to supervisor.
• Comply with federal, local, state regulations, and HSE procedures.
